It appears to be the real McCoy. I dont see anything that screams counterfeit. This seller has been around awhile too, $2800.00 would be a good price on this coin. Can someone link the picture?

look's like one of the coin's that were dumped in manila bay by the u.s. before the japanese invasion. they have a very crudy surface like this one. | |

The one you see is only the natural brownish toning but not the corrosion. The coin's surface doesn't have the crusty appearance. It's far from a sea salvage. Sea salvage pieces from the bay had a thick black coated film and bumpy fields. This one is gradeable to any major third party grading service. ABS | |

This piece was certified by PCGS last 3 days ago as AU-50. The coin was naturally toned and not a single sign of corrosion. A bargain for a price of $2,000.00! This means I'm richer by $2,000.00 more!!! It's worth the buy for a keen judgement. | |
