The NGC MS67 ended at  $183.78. A big gap in price between these 2 companies.

I was second highest bidder on the PCGS coin, ran out of time, so the question is what is the true value of this coin? I would have gone as high of 375. In my opinion PCGS is not going to grade too many ms67's. NGC does not get the respect as PCGS coins when time to sell.

I think the collector dectates what is the real value of this coin as you can see the price guide for MS65 is under $20.00, even with 200% juice to the suggested price will not even bring close the the hammered price. I agree PCGS will not going to graded a lot of MS67.

I miss this coin...  And as stated, there aren't many MS67's certified by PCGS, with only 5 others (the lowest number of 67's from 1944/1945).  I hope that it brings great joy to the lucky owner.

In the Heritage auction on 16 January 2013 a 1945-S 50 centavos in PCGS MS67 sold for $647.25

Someone had the foresite to buy one several years ago at $348.00. Thats a large profit in almost three years. Calculates to a 22.97% compounded annual rate of return percentage.
